Laboratorio su Acquisizione, Didattica e Ricerca in Inglese come Lingua StranieraResearch Laboratory on the Acquisition and Teaching of English as a Foreign Language
LADRILS promotes and conducts research, in collaboration with comparable national and international research centres, on the learning and acquisition of English as a first, second, or foreign language in both typical and atypical developmental contexts. The Lab has received the official patronage of the Italian Association of English Studies (AIA – Associazione Italiana di Anglistica).
The Laboratory aims to translate theoretical research into innovative teaching practices by developing and evaluating technology-enhanced pedagogies, teacher education initiatives, and teaching and learning materials. Subject to the establishment of formal agreements, LADRILS also provides consultancy services to educational institutions, research centres, public and private organisations, and companies working in the areas of language learning and teaching, education, and language policy.
