Activities LADRILS organises monthly seminars on topics related to the Laboratory’s research interests and areas of expertise. Seminars may be held either in person or online. In-person events are also streamed live via Microsoft Teams, allowing participants to attend remotely. Seminars are open to both the academic community and the general public, with free registration available to external participants. Each seminar provides ideas for developing teaching and learning resources across different educational contexts (e.g., higher education, high school, language courses). Materials are made freely available through the LADRILS website. Seminar topics are also discussed in articles that highlight the relevance of current research on English language acquisition, learning and teaching for a non-specialist audience. Through these activities, LADRILS aims to foster dialogue among research, educational practice, and the wider community, making research findings accessible and translating them into resources that support language education. Calendar The calendar of LADRILS activities for the 2026–2027 academic year will be updated as seminars are confirmed. We are happy to provide participants with a certificate of attendance.
