LADRILS Receives the Patronage of AIA Posted on 08/09/2026 We are delighted to announce that LADRILS has received the official patronage of the Italian Association of English Studies (AIA – Associazione Italiana di Anglistica). This recognition is especially meaningful as we begin a new phase in the life of the Laboratory. Our aim is for LADRILS to become not only a research centre, but also an open and welcoming community where scholars, PhD students, teachers and anyone interested in English linguistics, literature and EFL teaching can meet, exchange ideas and learn from one another. Our online seminars, delivered in English by speakers from Italian and international universities, are open to everyone. They seek to create a genuine conversation between research and classroom practice and to inspire the development of teaching resources for schools, universities and teacher-education programmes. We are very grateful to the AIA Board for supporting this new chapter and warmly invite everyone interested to join us at our forthcoming seminars.
